赤レンガの美しき監獄で、自分と向き合う時間を。
古都奈良に威風を放つ赤レンガの西洋建築は、明治時代に建てられた五大監獄で唯一全貌が現存する国の重要文化財
施設は大きく「保存エリア（当時の状態を残した第三寮）」と「展示エリア（A棟・B棟・C棟の展示棟＋カフェ・ショップ）」に分かれています。

◆A棟　歴史と建築
・・・赤レンガに刻まれた100年超の記憶をたどり、旧奈良監獄の設計思想と明治期の行刑制度を知るエリア

◆B棟　規律とくらし
・・・最も「問いかけ」を感じる、このミュージアムの核心的なエリア
規律・食事・衛生など、あらゆる面から被収容者の視点で刑務所の日常生活を知る

◆C棟　監獄とアート
旧奈良監獄の医務所だったC棟を、現代のギャラリーへと改装。
5組のアーティストが刑務所の現実に向き合って制作した作品を展示

鎌倉末期、良牛が描かれた「国牛十図」に、すでに良牛として名を挙げられていた「大和牛」は、美しくサシが入り、まったりと口の中でとろける極上の味わい。
頭数が少ないので市場に出回らず、「幻の銘牛」と謳われます。
他県ではまず食べる機会の少ない大和牛を、一膳で三度美味しさが味わえるひつまぶしにて存分にお楽しみください。

※No guide is accompanied for this tour. The tour conductor will manage the tour itinerary (no sightseeing guide will be provided).
※Please understand this in advance that seats on the bus may be shared or in front of or behind each other depending on the number of participants. We cannot accommodate your request for bus, train or boat seating.
※Adult & Child fee (applied to 6 and older) will be the same. Infant fee (aged 3-5 years old) includes only a bus seat. No service other than a bus seat will be provided.
※Note for Aug 4, Aug 11, and Sep 15: Due to Horiuchi Fruit Farm Land's regular closing days, we will visit the gogo store and cafe within Go-Man-Nin no Mori Park instead.
The lunch is scheduled for a one-hour duration between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Cancellation of Tour Contract / Refunds

(1) Cancellation before the start of the tour
